It’s impossible to hear Elle Fanning say “there’s a deadly monster living in our midst” in the opening line of this PSA against hunger without experiencing copious amounts of electric currents sliding down your spine. This is one of those rare creative adventures where all elements of perfection collude to output a unique piece of public communication. Working for the UN’s Zero Hunger Challenge, Visiontime recruited the American actress Elle Fanning, a member of Hollywood’s new elite. With the whimsical animation of Polish director Marcin Filipek and the unnerving sounds of Austrian composer Christof Unterberger, The Monster PSA demonstrates that entertaining, engaging content is the best vehicle for any serious debate.
